QIGONG

Description
This component of traditional Chinese medicine involves the coordination of different breathing patterns with various physical postures exercises and meditation. Qigong is taught for health maintenance purposes or prevention, while others teach it for therapeutic intervention.

Statistical studies show the following:
Millions of people in China and around the world regularly practice qigong as a health maintenance exercise. In fact qigong is considered standard medical practice in Chinese Hospitals. However, skeptical westerners still await more conclusive results of tests proving its ability to cause biological and chemical changes in the body.

Symptoms
Most Eastern and Western health practitioners agree that that qigong can improve and maintain health by encouraging correct breathing, movement, increasing range of motion, and improving joint flexibility and strength.

Chinese scientific studies have shown that qigong helps improve cardiovascular function, lower blood pressure and can reverse some symptoms of senility
