Description
Derived from the Greek word cheirourgen, meaning to work with the hand, Surgery is the branch of medicine that treats and manages illnesses and injuries by manual procedures and instrumental treatment. Though there are surgical doctor who perform general surgeries, most modern surgeons specialize on one part of the anatomy of a human body.
