MIGRAINES
Description
Migraines are an intense, often debilitating type of headache on one or both sides of the head. In some cases, people experience an aura which warns them of an impending migraine.
Though the exact cause is yet unknown certain stimuli or triggers may precipitate a migraine including diet, activity, bright lights and hormonal changes.
Statistical studies
show the following:
About 16-17% of the population in the world has experienced a migraine headache sometime in their lives. Half of those get their first episode before the age of 20 while almost all get it before the age of 50. 10% of children experience migraine headaches. More women than men report symptoms of migraines.

Classic Migraines

develops. These auras can be visual, aural,
or olfactory.
Symptoms of auras include:
Visual auras include flashing lights,
visual hallucination, zigzag lines, and
blurred vision. Aural auras involve hearing
buzzing sounds; olfactory auras include
smelling an unreal scent, and tactile auras

regular timing but it is more severe than
the regular migraine headache.
